PROPERTY LOSS ADJUSTING
The provision of loss-adjusting services to Insurers across Australia will always be the primary focus of our operations. Every Network Member is a qualified and experienced Property Loss Adjuster and our specialists are all qualified and current Chartered Loss Adjusters.
Membership of the Australian Institute of Chartered Loss Adjusters (AICLA) is mandatory for all our State Managers. It is highly encouraged among Network Members and their adjusting staff, with over 90% of ASTA adjusters serving as members.
Every year, we conduct assessments on claims ranging from minor domestic property damage to multi-million-dollar disaster recovery, with a significant portion of our work in the commercial and SME sectors. Our network allows us to effectively service locations from the Capital Cities of each state to remote and regional areas around Australia.
MAJOR LOSS & DISASTER
The ability to effectively manage a single, significant loss or multiple losses from a single event is not easy. The effective management of catastrophes in recent years by our team confirms we have extensive experience and knowledge in undertaking this type of work.
Our dedicated resources enable us to manage even the most significant and complex property losses with the professionalism and expertise our clients demand.

ENGINEERING
Machinery Breakdown losses are arguably the least understood area of the insurance claims sector, and our Western Australian State Office has specific knowledge and expertise in this area. Our Engineering Adjusters all hold formal, practical, and tertiary qualifications in the engineering fields relevant to the types of claims serviced.
Our approach of using qualified personnel as both the loss adjuster and the technical expert provides unprecedented credibility in our reporting, as the adjuster intimately understands not only how the equipment works but also what is specifically required for reinstatement and the issues that can prevent a smooth return to service.
Our services include expert assessment and management of machinery breakdown, electronic breakdown, and boiler and pressure vessel claims, with sizes ranging from SME-based losses through to major processing/manufacturing facilities and power generation.
BUSINESS INTERRUPTION
Operating in the commercial sector of insurance claims invariably means that business interruption exposures become apparent. All of our Adjusters have the experience to recognise and provide mitigation actions against these issues as they arise.
Minor business interruption claims are normally handled by the individual Adjuster managing the material damage portion of the claim however, ASTA Group also have several experienced Business Interruption specialists around the country that are utilised for major or complex losses in conjunction with the local Adjuster where required.
MOTOR
In conjunction with property loss adjusting services, our Queensland State Office also provides specialised automotive assessments for claims involving passenger vehicles, trucks, and heavy machinery.
Claims are managed nationally through an independent network of motor repair specialists and assessors, with co-ordination and quality control overseen by the highly experienced motor team in Queensland.
LIABILITY
ASTA has carefully selected several Adjusters in each region that have the skills and experience to handle liability assessments, either as a stand-alone claim or as part of an overall loss.
Our Group has several legally qualified Adjusters for significant and complex matters who work in conjunction with the Network to provide high-quality national coverage for liability matters.
